We build marine gears for work or play in ski boats to commercial tugs. Your transmission takes a beating when towing, docking, or quick shifting. We offer complete diagnostic, complete new unit replacement, and rebuild all in house. We do not let someone else build our gears, we do it ourselves to ensure only OEM parts are used and all components, including the cases, are within the correct factory tolerances. After the gear units are completed we dyno test each transmission to inspect pump pressures, shifting, and initial break-in. We also offer one and two year warranties on our gears so you can have confidence in your boat. The stern drive is the unit that transfers engine power from the inside of the boat hull through the transom and into the water. At River City Boat Works we provide expert yearly services for your outdrive and in house complete rebuilds. Our sterndrive technician as spent countless hours of training and experience working on OMC, Volvo Penta, MerCruiser, Mercury Outboards, and MerCruiser Racing drives. We provide you with options of OEM or aftermarket parts to fit your budget. All new and complete rebuilt out drives come with standard one year warranties.

We are your shop for endless upgrades for engine and drives from IMCO, Mercury Racing, Arneson Surface Drives, and Arizona Speed & Marine.
